Pastor’s Thoughts

Boy, oh boy, oh boy… If we as human beings or Christians for that matter would trust and obey this verse as parents and as children, how much better the world would be.

Parents need to hold their children accountable when they are living in their home to set an environment that obeying their mother and father is a requirement.

And children need to understand that they answer to God first if they are not living a life of obedience towards their parents.

Just imagine with me that all these people who are living in this world as if there are no consequences and the rules don’t apply to them were to instead have been raised to obey their parents and that there were consequences when they didn’t. Things would be different.

I have this conversation with people all the time in so many ways. Not just parenting or being parented.

The conversation of reading God’s plan, trusting God’s plan, and obeying God’s plan. The world is in the condition that it is in today not because God’s plan did not work, but because they didn’t work the plan.

It really is that plain and simple.

If every Christian on the planet would start working God’s plan today the world would be better overnight. This would continue each day the longer we worked God’s plan. The better and better that it would get each day.

Have a blessed Wednesday everyone. I pray that you will work God’s plan in whatever area that you are currently not doing so.
