9 What you learn from them will crown you with grace and be a chain of honor around your neck.
Pastor’s Thoughts
The crown and chain around the neck in that day represented wisdom and the respect from others that came with it.
The Lord blesses us when we follow His plan rather than going some other way. And there is always another way trying to entice you and I away from living God’s way.
God knows that, and so He rewards us when we remain steadfast in His way.
A child is blessed when following the instructions of his or her parents. Parents are blessed when they instruct their children in God’s ways. Grandparents are blessed when they instruct their grandchildren in God’s ways.
I can not say it enough… GOD WANTS TO BLESS HIS FAITHFUL CHILDREN. The problem is that He does not have as many faithful children to bless as He would like.
Will you choose to be an obedient, faith filled child of God today and do the same the days after today? You won’t regret it.
