Pastor’s Thoughts

When we make it a point of constantly seeking the Lord’s Wisdom through His Word and prayer day after day we will find ourselves making more and more wise choices.

The goal is not to make some wise choices in God’s eyes. It is to grow each day by making more and more wise choices.

Think of it more like compound interest. If we continuously make unwise after unwise choice then the buildup of unwise choices is going to bring more and more pain on our lives. The opposite is true with making wise choices. If we continuously make wise choice after wise choice, day after day, then the buildup of wise choices is going to bring more and more joy from the Lord and opportunities to serve Him.

The more wise choices we make each day the better it is for us and the people around us.

This is a LENGTHY process, not a short one. It takes lots of time. It takes lots of times of testing’s. It takes humility. It takes honesty. When you make an unwise choice, follow it up with a wise one. Repentance!

That’s right, instead of shaming yourself when you make an unwise choice, seek the Lord’s forgiveness and wisdom in how not to make that unwise choice in the future.

You will have many regrets if you have far more unwise choices in your life rather than wise ones. But, you will have no regret if you make more and more wise choices.

Live life with less regret. It’s more peaceful and joyful.

Have a blessed Thursday everyone. I pray you will choose many wise choices today rather than unwise ones.
